The Ice Hotel Quebec-Canada, located just outside Quebec City, will be open from January 5th to April 1st, 2007. The architecture of the Ice Hotel is unique every year.

Each year, our talented artists create even more intricate and intriguing designs. This magnificent architectural wonder offers sensational experiences that are sure to please anyone who visits or spends the night.

Imagine sleeping snuggly in this luxurious structure crafted each winter from the purest of nature's materials: ice and snow. You`ll be surrounded by beautiful ice sculptures and paintings. You can dance the night away in our N'Ice Club or lounge about in our ABSOLUT Ice Bar. Then relax underneath the stars in our outdoor hot tubs. And for fianceés, our Ice Chapel provides an enchanting and fairytale-like setting for weddings.

The hotel offers 18 rooms and 14 theme suites built from 12,000 tons of snow and 400 tons of ice. The walls at Ice Hotel Quebec are four feet thick and allow the hotel to maintain an interior temperature of 28° to 23° Fahrenheit (-2° to –5° Celsius). The furniture at the hotel is made of snow and ice, including the beds. The beds are equipped with a thick foam mattress, Hbc wool blanket or soft deer pelts, and an extra thick sleeping bag. Guests have access to a heated bathroom facilities from inside the Ice Hotel

As envisioned by Mr. Igloo himself, Jacques Desbois (CEO of the Ice Hotel), this type of lounge / bar, made totally of snow and ice, brings a breath of fresh air and allows you to spend a fun filled evening enveloped in an ambiance both intimate and surrealistic.

The Mont Tremblant Resort will welcome skiers this winter, arriving at the bottom of the slopes, in a whole new and conceptually unique lounge: N'Ice Club Mont-Tremblant. This Ice Hotel Quebec-Canada realization will allow visitors at Mont Tremblant to live a truly distinct and exceptional experience. N'Ice Club Mont-Tremblant will be made entirely of snow and ice. This arched structure will occupy an area of 3000 sq. ft. and will be able to welcome 200 people at a time. It will require a total of 1600 tons of snow and 100 tons of ice to construct. When entering N'Ice Club Mont-Tremblant, people will discover a magical world where primitive and modern, snow and stone, ice and heat artistic concepts intermingle. Friends and family will be able to enjoy private alcoves, a fireplace, video projectors, an ice bar, cocktails served in glasses made of ice, and a dance floor; making this grotto well worth discovering.

This unique structure, with walls covered in original artwork and furniture made of ice, will amaze you. Our enchanting ICE chapel will surpass your wildest expectations! The Ice Hotel opens for the public from 10:00 a.m to midnight. Public tours are a great occasion for passing tourists and Quebecois of all ages to discover this unique and fascinating winter architectural marvel. Guided tours are available from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm, in English at every hour and in french at every half hour. Tours take approximately 30 minutes and are filled with information and interesting facts about the Ice Hotel. After a tour, you can discover the rest of what the Ice Hotel has to offer on your own!
