Travelodge Hotel, Saskatoon

he Saskatoon Travelodge Hotel opened in 1972. The hotel has experienced four major expansions. The first, in 1977, enclosed the outdoor pool and added 30 new rooms and additional banquet space. In 1980 there was a four storey, 66 room additions, a new banquet room (Galaxy A) and the relocation of the bar. In 1984, the water slide / pool complex and 64 pool side / view rooms were added. The most recent expansion in 1999 added 51 new rooms designed with the executive corporate traveler in mind, bringing the total number of rooms to 269. Along with the new rooms, additional meeting room space was built (Galaxy B) to accommodate 1000 people for a meeting and 600 for a banquet.

All accommodations have free in-room tea and coffee, free local calls and no access charges for long distance, cable TV, Pay Per View movies and complimentary newspaper. The California Suite at the Saskatoon Travelodge Hotel boasts a large living area with a dining room table for 12. The adjoining Monterey Room features a four-poster king size bed and a large Jacuzzi bathtub.

If you are traveling with children, the Sleepy Bears Den accomodations for kids makes travel fun for the whole family. Non-smoking, pool side hotel rooms are decorated with children in mind. Rooms feature Sleepy Bear bedspreads, curtains, lampshades, posters, cups and children's' chair. These hotel rooms also have an in-room video cassette player and refrigerator.

The Garden Terrace Restaurant at the Saskatoon Travelodge Hotel offers a relaxed tropical setting around the pool combined with a family friendly menu that features high quality dishes. Also serves the best Sunday Brunch in town! Oscars Lounge is one of Saskatoon’s loveliest lounges. Its a wonderful place to have a quiet drink by the fireplace. The Garden Terrace is licensed and open from 6:30am - 10:00pm daily. Our restaurant menu offers light snacks, lunches, full meals, buffets and brunches plus a children’s and seniors’ menu. Located in the restaurant is the Parlour, a private dining area for up to 30 people.
