There is a lot of texture in our area and some truly amazing people; artisans, glass blowers, farmers, vintners, monks, Shepherds, cheese makers, grape growers, restaurateurs, chefs, writers, fishermen and falconers. We could list an entire page of eclectic individuals that have made this valley and this island home but that is up to you to discover.

Our SPA & Wellness Centre is the perfect amenity to relax and unwind while staying at our Relais. Here you will find harmony in body, mind and spirit as our professionally trained staff provide rejuvenating treatments that will counter balance the stress of day to day life. Carefully Selected botanicals from the earth and minerals from the sea will provide essential nutrients for your skin and the calming time will provide essential rest for your mind. We offer 2 massage rooms, one wrap room and two esthetics rooms in the Wellness Centre, plus a variety of different products to purchase.

Over the past decade we have developed a foraging program with our local farmers and purveyors, which afford us the opportunity to develop unique menus that pay respect to our agricultural community and help preserve the economic viability of our local growers. Vancouver Island offers an abundance of flavours that we believe to be the some of the best in the Western Hemisphere. Each item celebrates the bounty of our local farms, the ocean and the gastronomic flair of our culinary team. Our menus are minuets; foraged foods form the notes.

The Wine Program at the Aerie Resort is as entity unto itself. Since 1996 the wine program has grow from a list of approximately 100 selections to the current 600+ listings. We cellar over 6000 bottles of wine in two wine cellars beneath the dining room. One of our cellars is a show piece and is available for impromptu tours.

We offer concierge services at the Aerie and we can put together a number of routes and activities for you to enjoy while you are with us. For more complete tours we are able to provide full day guided tours to farms, falcon facilities, wineries and a local restaurant for lunch or a cooking class. If you are not interested in leaving our Aerie you can relax, enjoy the spa, read, take a cooking class, dine, enjoy live music in the evening or, most importantly, just make time for your loved one and take a time out from the vagaries and stresses of day to day life.
