The English Inn and Resort is a collection of luxurious Manors set amidst a spectacular 5 acre garden estate, located moments from downtown and Victoria’s Inner Harbour.

Water features, a wedding pavilion with surrounding water moat and fountain, an Italian-style piazza, and other architectural elements earmark the gardens, along with a replica of the childhood home of Anne Hathaway, built in 1959.

The traditionally English manor homes are all two stories and do not have elevators. The main manor house provides complimentary wireless Internet access in public areas and guestrooms. Babysitting services can be arranged, as can in-room massage (surcharge for all services). The Rosemeade Dining Room and Lounge has garden views and serves contemporary West Coast cuisine.

This hotel offers 49 guestrooms in five two-story manor houses with traditional decor and contemporary finishes (no elevators). All accommodations offer Egyptian-cotton bed linens and are individually decorated, some provide four-poster canopy beds, balconies, and/or fireplaces as well. Complimentary wireless Internet access is offered in the main manor-house rooms. CD players, VCRs, DVD players, microwaves, and refrigerators are available upon request.

Our Crown Suites are our most spacious rooms, including a seating area within the room. Crowns have either a rock fireplace, vaulted ceilings or a balcony and a Queen or King bed. Many Crown Suites are large enough to accommodate one or two luxurious air-feather beds for additional guest(s).

The Estate Suites are larger comfortable rooms similar to a junior suite with a sitting area. All Estate Suites have either a Queen or King bed and some are equipped to accommodate our luxurious air-feather beds for additional guest(s).

Our garden suites are cozy and quaint, with a Queen or King bed. Ideal for the single traveler or for a couple searching for peace and quiet.

Our townhouse is a two-bedroom suite with King or Queen beds and two full washrooms. It has a large seating area, efficiency kitchen and a garden level patio.

Here at The English Inn & Resort we are all thrilled at the epicurean expertise emerging from our exquisite “show kitchen” to our fabulous Rosemeade Dining Room. Our Lounge is open daily from noon to 10:30 pm. The Rosemeade Dining Room boasts the talents of Chef Richard Luttman. Richard joined our team a year ago, from the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas, in order to create the foundation and philosophy for the kitchen team. Understanding that the kitchen is the heart and soul of the Rosemeade, he has developed an extraordinary repertuire of talent and product. His signature style is in sourcing the best local and seasonal ingredients to create innovative dishes and modern interpretations of traditional combinations. Choose from an extensive menu encompassing simple, refined plates, ingenious main dishes, and tantalizing desserts to round off your evening. A tour of the multi-million dollar kitchen is a must.
